In an attempt to quell violent crime in some of the city’s most dangerous neighborhoods, the City of Chicago has sought the help of some “street credible” local residents, now known as Peacekeepers.
After the program’s initial deployment provided some arguably questionable results, we discuss how other than it's personnel, the program’s inception and operational protocols seem to be largely unknown to the majority of law enforcement.
