A 1989 graduate of The Citadel and former United States Army Officer, serving in Germany & Operation Desert Storm. Police Officer since 2000, assigned to Patrol, Tactical, Narcotics, Honor Guard & Training Units. 17 years of SWAT experience. Duties involved community education, fugitive apprehension, directed enforcement & inter-departmental interdiction operations. Served as a narcotics & vice detective. Certified Trainer in Firearms, Less Lethal Weapons, Active Threat Response, Tactical Medicine & Peer Support.

Created & presented public education forums related to the impact of narcotics on the community. Developed a recruiting & retention model through an in-depth police officer internship program. Received numerous awards for individual & team performance. Awarded the Medal of Valor.
