Jason Louis is an active-duty patrol sergeant with over 20 years of law enforcement experience in a wide array of assignments including Patrol, Custody, Courts, Investigations, Special Enforcement, and Training. He's a California POST Certified instructor in Defensive Tactics, Use of Force/De-escalation, Force Options Simulator, Taser, and Emergency Vehicle Operations. He also spent 4 years as the full-time In-Service Training Coordinator for his agency's regional training center in Southern California and supervised the Use of Force, Arrest and Control, Taser, Fit Testing, and First Aid Teaching Cadres. In addition, he's a sitting member of his agency’s use of force review board, a certified Force Science Analyst, Enhanced Force Investigation Strategies Specialist, Gracie Survival Tactics Instructor and an avid practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Management.
